Unique fordite watch dial handmade for NH movements

This fordite dial is ready to be installed on an NH movement. It has a brass back with feet. It is 28.5mm in diameter and 0.4mm thick with a 2mm center hole. This dial is hand made by me and painstakingly polished to an ultra fine polish results in a shocking luster and detailed texture unlike any other. Build or mod your own watch or have me build a watch for you! This highly grey metallic dial has a rare terminating line featured prominently with a very desirable mix of beautiful colors. Fordite or Detroit Agate is indutrial waste from the paint area from a car factory, when the sprayers miss the car the paint lands on equipment after some time many layers build up and someone has to dispose of the preciouse material we love so much. Instead of throwing it away it gets made into gems, knife handles, shift knobs and in my case watch dials. the final thickness of the fordite for my dials is typically 0.2 mm, it is extremely difficult and time consuming to achieve this evenly and get a high luster polish too. *Made in Colorado USA
